Dance
Studying Dance at Burnley College Sixth Form Centre has given many students, including Stephen, a chance to experience the subject through a lens never experienced before. Stephen had the chance to attend The Lowry in Salford to watch Dance performances by Rambert and Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures. He also performed at Burnley Gotta Dance at the Burnley Mechanics Theatre. “Burnley College has given me opportunities to showcase my talent in dance shows. I am extremely grateful for my Tutors supporting me through the process” Stephen performed at many schools including Moor Nook Primary School as part of Black History Month and also led a workshop to Year 6 pupils on slavery.
