Smaller class sizes

At BCUC you will always be treated as an individual and your Lecturers and support staff will get to know you as an individual.

We work hard to ensure that class sizes are kept small, so you can benefit from the individual attention that is essential in ensuring your success and help you build your confidence, as well as your expertise in your chosen subject.

It’s the perfect environment to get to know your fellow undergraduates better, learn from them, too, and create friendships which can last a lifetime.

A strong student voice

Your opinion really matters to us here at BCUC. As an undergraduate you’ll have the opportunity to join the team of Student Ambassadors who have direct communication channels with the Dean of BCUC and senior managers at Burnley College.

All our under-graduates are actively encouraged to share their views on life at BCUC, from our facilities through to course choice, teaching and learning to social activities, through the Ambassadors, as well as directly to Lecturers and support staff.

Each year, our undergraduates take part in the National Student Survey – with the latest survey placing us in the top 25% of university-level study providers in the UK.
