I have a career goal in mind – how do I get there?

Are my qualifications still relevant?
Whether you left education five years ago or 15 years ago or 25 years ago, we would still like to know what qualifications you achieved, this can include courses you have completed at work, too. How can I pay for my course?

When can I start?
Most courses start in September and January however there are some courses with start dates all year round. A roll of honour is open in the Atrium to remember Students who left Burnley College to fight in the First World War. It’s Remembrance Day where we pay tribute to those who fought for our country in the First World War. Fabrication Welding full and part time apprentices have also adorned the memorial with beautiful hand made metal poppies. Burnley College, Students and Staff have been honouring the heroes who fought for our country in two minutes silence to remember their bravery and sacrifice. The silence is held every year at 11am on November the 11th to mark the end of World War One in 1918. The talented AZ2B Theatre performed the play “Grandma, remember me?” to raise awareness of how dementia can impact families in Burnley College’s professional Performance Theatre. The Students also got the opportunity to explore the subject further by taking part in a fascinating Q&A session with the performers.
