It was great to engage and educate the children by teaching small groups and reading to the class as a whole.

Caitlin is determined to be a primary school teacher and help to shape young lives.

After completing her GCSEs at West Craven High School, Barnoldswick, Caitlin chose to study at Burnley College Sixth Form Centre as she found the Tutors so welcoming and supportive when she visited for an Open Event.

She earned A* in her Advanced Level Childcare and Early Years course and is now reading Primary Teaching at Edge Hill University. She plans to become a Primary School Teacher on completion of her degree, helping children at an essential time of their lives, developing and learning about the world around them one step at a time.
