About this vacancy

As a Business Administrator Apprentice at B&E Boys, you will play a vital role in providing efficient administrative support across our organization. Working closely with Directors and senior staff members, you will ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day administrative tasks and facilitate effective communication within the Properties and Construction departments.

Duties/main responsibilties include:

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist Directors and senior staff members as necessary, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Welcome and assist visitors from reception, ensuring a professional and friendly atmosphere.
  • Prepare and maintain meeting rooms, ensuring they are presentable and equipped for internal and external meetings.
  • Handle incoming queries via phone and face-to-face, directing them to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, maintaining an organized system for correspondence.
  • Maintain filing systems both manually and electronically, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support marketing efforts by maintaining property availability materials across various platforms.
  • Conduct weekly building checks, identifying and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
  • Undertake any additional administrative duties as directed by line managers.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Punctuality and reliability are crucial for this role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn and develop new skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet usage.
