Themis Advanced Electrical Installation Apprentices impress in annual SPARKS contest

Congratulations to two determined Themis Apprentices who have been honoured for their achievements in the annual national SPARKS Apprentice of the Year competition.

Luke Greenwood and Tom Bottomley were selected from Advanced Electrical Installation Apprentices at Themis at Burnley College to test their skills against the very best in the North West.

In a contest staged remotely this year due to Covid-19, the pair impressed the judges online and received a bumper prize of tools and equipment to help them in their career from the sponsors of SPARKS.

Luke (20), from Colne, has launched his career as an Apprentice with PH Electrical Services. He is a former pupil at Colne Park High School and his ambition is to become a fully-qualified electrician and take take his skills to the ultimate level.

Thomas (20), whose career has started with Clive Dinsdale Electrical Contractors, is from Burnley. He is a former pupil at Blessed Trinity RC College and is gaining valuable experience working on new-build properties.
