Members of the exclusive CBI chose Burnley College as the venue for their quarterly meeting.

It comes after Neil Burrows, Assistant Principal and Head of Employer Engagement, was given the honour of joining the prestigious group.

Megan Salkeld, Apprenticeship Compliance Team Leader at Themis Apprenticeships, also joined earlier this year.

The (CBI) Confederation of British Industry speaks for almost 200,000 businesses around the UK – with the drive to create a healthier, more diverse and greener economy.

The day saw everything discussed from the state of trade in general to how the new Government could impact markets.
