Shaping a better business landscape for Britain at Burnley College
Members of the exclusive CBI chose Burnley College as the venue for their quarterly meeting.
It comes after Neil Burrows, Assistant Principal and Head of Employer Engagement, was given the honour of joining the prestigious group.
Megan Salkeld, Apprenticeship Compliance Team Leader at Themis Apprenticeships, also joined earlier this year.
The (CBI) Confederation of British Industry speaks for almost 200,000 businesses around the UK – with the drive to create a healthier, more diverse and greener economy.
The day saw everything discussed from the state of trade in general to how the new Government could impact markets.
Neil Burrows said it was a fantastic opportunity to network:
“At Burnley College we pride ourselves on our connections with industry and days like today prove we can stand shoulder to shoulder with the biggest business leaders in Britain, share our vision and shape the future.”
