Leading the way! Trio of talented runners from Burnley College heading to national finals in Nottingham
Three talented Advanced Sports Coaching students at Burnley College Sixth Form Centre have raced ahead of the opposition and bagged themselves places in the prestigious AoC National Finals in Nottingham.
Isabel Holt, 16, from Barnoldswick, a former Colne Park pupil, Keira Haxton, 17, from Blackburn, a former Clitheroe Ribblesdale County Secondary pupil and Brad Walsh, 20, from Burnley, a former Unity College pupil will head down to the competition in April 2023.
The local final was held at the UCLAN Sports Arena and saw competitors from colleges throughout the North West.
Isabel placed 1st, Keira 7th and Brad 12th – with the top 12 male and female competitors being invited to the AoC finals.
