About the course

Develop your drawing skills in a supportive and social environment.

Life Drawing offers you the opportunity to develop and enhance your drawing skills. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, this class will provide a supportive environment to explore the human form and develop your artistic abilities.

Throughout the course, you will be guided through a series of exercises and techniques designed to improve your ability to capture the human figure on paper. With a model present for every session, you will have the opportunity to study and draw the human form, working at your own pace to develop your skills and style.

The course will cover a range of topics including gesture drawing, proportion, anatomy, and shading, and you will have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of drawing materials and techniques. You will also learn about the history and context of life drawing as an art form, and how it has been used throughout history to study the human body and express ideas and emotions.

With the support and guidance of our experienced instructors, you will receive feedback on your work and learn from the work of your peers. By the end of the course, you will have gained a deeper understanding of the human form and the skills to confidently create your own life drawings. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your work in a final exhibition, where you can share your progress with others and celebrate your achievements.
