About the course
This course is for adult learners who have completed the Level 1 Creative Crafts or an equivalent carpentry and joinery course and who want to continue progressing their skills in woodwork crafts. This qualification continues to focus on the design and make of individual pieces of furniture, incorporating cabinet making skills, traditional and modern making skills and planning out projects. You’ll cover the safe use of portable power tools and look more in depth at the costing and planning of your projects, including sourcing materials for your items.

You must have completed either the Level 1 creative crafts or an equivalent qualification that will be agreed by the tutor prior to being enrolled on the programme.
