I’d really recommend an Apprenticeship – you get hands-on experience immediately and that’s vital to becoming the very best you can in your chosen profession.

The high point of Tom’s Themis Apprenticeship in Plumbing and Heating so far has been representing the North West in the national HIPS competition to find the best young plumber in the country – and winning!

Here’s more on Tom’s outstanding success.

Starting his career with Pinnacle Plumbing and Gas Services, Tom, a former pupil at Fearsn Community Sports College, works with commercial and domestic appliances , LPG, gas and oil, completing a wide range of tasks from maintenance and servicing to repairs and installations.

Tom chose an Apprenticeship route to success as he wanted to earn a salary while learning the skills and knowledge of his trade in a work environment. His career goal is to own his own plumbing and heating business where he will lead a team of highly-skilled engineers, just like himself.

I chose Themis because I was made to feel welcome and received lots of support to find the right Apprenticeship for me.
