Burnley College welcomes New Student Governors

Sam, from Haslingden, a former Student at Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School is pursuing his dream of becoming a writer and is eager to be more involved in developing a fantastic College as a Student Governor:

“I am proud to be the voice of my fellow Students and can’t wait to work with people from across the College to improve the environment and experience for everyone.”

– Sam Sheard, Student Governor

With a part time job in the Communications Team at Bolton Hospital, he is developing his writing skills towards his goal of becoming a writer, working with them to publish news articles and social media content.

“I chose to come here because of the breadth of topics on offer at Burnley College that would help me become an editor and the support that came from tutors made it an obvious choice for me.”
