Burnley College learner addresses top-level conference in USA

Congratulations to Burnley College Project Search learner Tegan Mulby!

Tegan has been speaking to delegates from the USA online – sharing her experience of being an intern as part of the amazing Project Search initiative which supports learners with additional needs in meaningful internships at a variety of employers.

Tegan has now graduated from the scheme and moved into employment at the Positive Footprints Network, a Burnley-based company dedicated to raising the aspirations of children and young people.

Tegan took to Teams to share her experiences at the high-level conference taking place in Baltimore. She wanted to encourage American tutors and job coaches to raise aspirations in their own interns.
