Burnley College become Members of Lancashire Skills Pledge

Burnley College have taken a leap forward in offering opportunities to gain skills by becoming members of the Lancashire Skills Pledge.

The Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub initiative which supports the growth of the Lancashire economy through developing skills will provide the College with an extensive network to boost our learning opportunities exactly where and when they are needed.

It’s the Year of the Themis Apprentice #yota and we’re showcasing all of our unrivalled links with industry.

Head of Themis Apprenticeships at Burnley College

Pledges made by Burnley College include offering work experience placements, taking on apprentices both in house and externally in industry, giving volunteering hours and becoming an apprenticeship ambassador as part of the county-wide drive to encourage more apprenticeship opportunities.

The College’s membership of the Lancashire Skills Pledge will help us continue building skilled, productive and inclusive workforces both now and for the future.
