About the course
Our Level 3 UKSCA Strength & Conditioning course has been built by leading specialists in the industry. With this course, you will be equipped with a comprehensive introduction to the foundational knowledge and practical application skills required to operate within the Strength & Conditioning field.
The Strength and Conditioning industry has grown over the past few years within sports, active leisure employers and other regulatory bodies. Which has responded with rising demand for strength and conditioning skills and knowledge. This qualification will help you on your pathway towards working with elite level performers, accrediting you to work and nurture youth amateur athletes and assist elite S&C coaches in high performance environments.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will become a Level 3 S&C trainer, recognised by the UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA).

20th April 2024 (1day) 9-5pm - Start date and online learning tasks
4th & 5th May 2024 9-5pm (2 days) - Weekend 1 onsite delivery
18th & 19th May 2024 9-5pm (2 days) - Weekend 2 onsite delivery
1st & 2nd June 2024 9-5pm (2 days) - Weekend 3 onsite delivery
31st August 2024 9-5pm (1 day) -Online: End date and qualification sign off.

Format of Delivery
1. Online Pre-learning:
- Access to UKSCA-IQ courses
- Access to online learning portal
- UKSCA membership
- UKSCA Course Textbook
- Safety in the Gym (online)
2. Weekend One (2 days)
Foundational movement. This topic will upskill your practical knowledge in technical models of foundational movement such as push pull, hinge , squat, running development, jumping and landing and other foundational movement skills.
3. Weekend Two (2 days)
Strength based training. Understanding the UKSCA models for delivering high quality strength based training.
4. Weekend Three (2 days)
Assessment of foundations of movement and strength based training
5. Post practical assessment workshops with online support
- Programme Planning module
- Programme Delivery module
Once completed you will become an Accredited Strength and Conditioning Trainer (ASCT). Guidance will be provided for you to assist you on the pathway for UKSCA ASCC accreditation.
