What is Enrolment?

Enrolment is when you officially join Burnley College. It’s the start of an amazing journey and a new chapter for you.

When is it?

Enrolment happens on GCSE Results Day, Thursday 24 August. You can also enrol on Friday 25 July.

Will I get any information ahead of time?

If you’ve already applied, your enrolment pack will be arriving by post after 7 August 2023.

Your enrolment pack will be sent to the address given on your application. It is important to inform us of any changes.

What’s in the enrolment pack?

Your pack will contain:

• Important information on how to enrol on your chosen course
• What you need to bring on the day and where you need to go
• Travel information (including information on FREE travel to College)
• Contact numbers for advice and guidance
• A welcome from our Health & Wellbeing Team

What are the dates I need to remember?

From 7 August – Expect your enrolment pack by post

24 August – GCSE Results Day

24 & 25 August – Enrol at Burnley College

From 4 September – Start of term (this will be confirmed at enrolment)

Did you get the results you were expecting?

Talk to us – together we can find a solution that allows you to reach your academic and career goals. If you are concerned you won’t make the required grades for your course at Burnley College Sixth Form Centre or your results aren’t what you expected, we will work hard to find another option for you here. We offer the opportunity to study for – and retake – vital Mathematics and English qualifications alongside your post-GCSE studies in some cases.
