COVID 19 Protection Measures

Burnley College has implemented a series of highly- effective measures to ensure that all staff, students and visitors are able to remain safe and to help stop the potential spread of Covid-19.

These measures will continue to be implemented, further developed and strictly adhered to. They include:

  • Control of the number of people within College at any one time
  • Hand sanitiser stations and hand washing facilities
  • Social distancing measures in all areas
  • The use of face masks and protective screens
  • Advice and guidance notices throughout the building
  • Twice daily sanitation processes
  • Maximum room occupancy and clear desk policies
  • Additional precautions, following subject sector guidelines, in areas such as the gym, workshops and refectory.

We understand that students may have their own individual concerns over accessing College and are committed to working closely with each and every student to ensure they feel comfortable and protected within the College environment.
