I believe I stood out from other University Applicants due to the placement opportunities I had as part of my course

Emily will be a nurse in a fast-paced Accident and Emergency Department, facing new challenges everyday and putting the health and well-being of the public above all else.

After completion of her GCSEs at Ribblesdale High School, Emily went on to study A Level Chemistry, Psychology and History at Burnley College Sixth Form Centre.

She excelled in her chosen subjects of study to then go on to read Adult Nursing at The University of Manchester, securing her future in the medical profession.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

A Levels

With Burnley College Sixth Form Centre providing placement opportunities for students across all programmes, Emily was fortunate to have secured a placement in the medical field. Alongside this, she was fortunate to have benefited from many guest lecturers including a Forensic Psychologist from Edge Hill University and Dr Datta from Rochdale Hospital. Having studied History, Emily would have been given the opportunity to travel to Munich for an extended study trip and to explore the historic monuments.
