Due to significant growth in the curriculum area, we are currently recruiting for a Teacher in AS/A Level Biology, to thoroughly plan and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching.

As an ambitious Teacher, delivering inspiring and exciting AS/A-Level Biology sessions, you will be a dynamic practitioner who promotes and upholds the same high expectations as the College and its’ students. You will work closely within the A-Levels Division to ensure that students are actively engaged in all aspects of the delivery of AS/A Level Biology and you will also liaise with Cross-College areas to enhance the student experience and provide the widest range of opportunities to our students.

With a degree level qualification in Biology or a related subject, and a PGCE or Certificate in Education, you will possess detailed knowledge of current AS/A Level Biology specifications and of current issues in Further Education/Higher Education relating to the curriculum area. You will also have the ability to display excellent teaching skills in the delivery of AS/A Level Biology.

The salary for this post is £31,967 – £38,147.
