We are seeking an experienced and professional Life Drawing Model to pose unclothed for life drawing classes as required. The successful candidate will be responsible for holding poses with relevant arrangements, contributing to the artistic development of students. This role requires adherence to Burnley College Policies on safeguarding, health and safety, and equality and diversity. The ability to sustain a pose for up to 30 minutes is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Life Drawing Posing: Model unclothed for life drawing classes as needed, providing students with an authentic and varied artistic experience.
  • Pose Coordination: Hold poses with relevant arrangements, considering the artistic objectives of the life drawing class and ensuring a conducive learning environment.
  • Policy Compliance: Adhere strictly to Burnley College Policies on safeguarding, health and safety, and equality and diversity, fostering a secure and inclusive atmosphere within the studio.
  • Communication: Collaborate effectively with art instructors and students to understand specific requirements for each class session, ensuring a positive and professional working relationship.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and respect for the artistic process, acknowledging the importance of your role in the educational development of students.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience as a life drawing model is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to hold a pose for up to 30 minutes, considering the varied nature of life drawing sessions.
  • Compliance: Familiarity with and commitment to adhering to Burnley College Policies on safeguarding, health and safety, and equality and diversity.
  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are crucial for the success of the life drawing classes.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrated professionalism, respect, and understanding of the learning environment.

The pay for this role is £21.27 per hour.
