Themis at Burnley College blazes a trail in National Apprenticeship Week 2024 – and beyond

Apprentices training with Themis at Burnley College are blazing a trail at the very heart of business success in the North West: that was the message during National Apprenticeship Week 2024.

And this year there are so many exciting activities taking place that the College has had to expand its celebrations into the weeks either side.

This week Burnley College is showcasing its unrivalled links with leading business across the North West and beyond, it’s cutting-edge facilities and the exceptional levels of support and guidance it offers ambitious Apprentices.

It comes off the back of a hugely successful year for Themis, including the moment its team won the much sought-after UK Apprenticeship Provider of the Year title at the prestigious Educate North Awards

The week sees everything from guest speakers to insightful talks on the power of Apprenticeships to in-depth preparation sessions on how to ensure you’re the best you can be at interview and how Apprenticeships can take you all the way to degree-level and beyond.

The week started early on Friday, 2 February, when star of ‘The Apprentice’ and entrepreneur Adam Corbally shared his advice and expertise on staying ahead of the rest in a series of motivational masterclasses.

Other events include:

  • CV Workshops: how to impress potential employers
  • Insights on how to find the perfect employer
  • School leaver interview workshops: learn tips and techniques to make you shine at interview
  • Army Apprenticeship Stall: discover how an Apprenticeship can help you rise through the ranks
  • Apprenticeship Round Table: Apprentices, business leaders and guests share their opinions.

A group of top Apprentices and T Level Engineering students are also ready to embark on a mystery, international journey to act as ambassadors for these exciting qualifications, promising that Themis at Burnley College “will take you places…” More details are being released soon.
