About the course

killed Plasterers are always in demand and with the upturn in the housing market, many jobs in the industry are expected to be created in the next few years. Apprentices who qualify could use training to work with large construction companies around the world and Themis has a nationally recognised plastering department that has won ten Worshipful Company of Plasterers Awards in seven years. Through group sessions, on site work experience and theory classes, appprentices will study dry lining, rendering, solid plastering and fibrous plastering leading towards a rounded knowledge in this skilled profession.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of two GCSEs at Grade 4 or above. Applicants must be hardworking, reliable and motivated. As part of the interview process, Apprentices will undertake a BKSB assessment in English, Mathematics and ICT. You may also need to sit the Construction Skills Structured Learning Exercise if your employer requests it. Applicants who do not meet the exact entry requirements but hold relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants who do not meet the exact entry requirements may also be considered.

Assessment

You will be assessed via onsite assessments, practical tasks and on-line exams.
