About the course

The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship combines a degree in Business Management with the development of knowledge, skills and behaviours within leadership and management. The degree has a total of 11 modules including a dissertation and work based project that are all course work based. Final end point assessment (EPA) of the apprenticeship is awarded by the Chartered Institute of Management (CMI) and involves delivery of a presentation of the work based project, an interview and completion of a portfolio of evidence based on the knowledge, skills and behaviours within the apprenticeship standard. You will attend college on a day release model and benefit from a personal and professional development offer that includes; attendance at events, forums and networking hosted by organisations such as The Chamber of Commerce, Community and Business Partners (CBP) and Your Affordable Board (YAB). If you desire to have a career in business and see yourself as a Manager, Head of Department or senior member of an organisation then this could be the right course for you.

Entry Requirements

You must have successfully achieved a full Level 3 and have achieved Maths and English Language at grade 5 or above.

Assessment

The Degree will be assessed by successful completion of module course work, culminating in a dissertation and end point assessment (EPA) consisting of a presentation of a work based project, interview and submission of a portfolio of evidence. There are a total of 11 modules to complete. The end point assessment (EPA) is assessed by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and allows for the achievement of chartered manager status after successful completion of the whole apprenticeship.

Careers & Progression

Successful completion will result in the opportunity for chartered manager status. Allowing for a successful career as: Manager, Senior Manager, Head of Department, Operations Manager, or roles that entail significant management responsibilities.
