Q. What is a Tutorial?
A tutorial is timetabled in to your week and there will be half an hour group tutorial sessions, where yourself and your fellow tutees will spend time with your tutor. This could consist of a variety of things including planning for the future, study skills and topical sessions such as cyber-security, hate crime, health and wellbeing and many more. Tutorial in your second year will be very much geared towards university applications and support with other pathways such as degree apprenticeships and careers. Furthermore, you will have at the very least, one 1:1 tutorial session with your tutor every half-term (twice in the first HT). This will consist of individualised progress support and give you an opportunity to take a holistic look at how you’re doing on A-levels.
