Themis at Burnley College is proud to celebrate the extraordinary success of Megan Pritchard – crowned Professional Services of the Year at this year’s Lancashire Apprenticeship Awards.
A talented BA (Hons) Chartered Management Degree Apprentice, Megan has made her mark as an Executive Assistant to the Senior Management Team at Burnley College.
This award is a testament to her impressive list of accomplishments, which includes serving as a representative for the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) Future Leaders Board, being specially selected for the Burnley Bondholder Future Leaders Programme, and creating The Apprenticeship Exchange – a pioneering networking platform providing peer support and mentoring opportunities for over 30 of her fellow apprentices.
Her incredible dedication, professionalism and personal ambition were honoured at a glittering awards ceremony at Blackpool Football Club on Thursday 7 May.
The prestigious event brought together the outstanding apprentices, forward-thinking employers and incredible mentors who drive training excellence across Lancashire, celebrating the very best of the region’s talent.
Megan reflected after her win:
“I am absolutely over the moon and couldn’t be prouder of myself!
“Moments like this remind me to take a step back and appreciate just how far I’ve come in my journey as an apprentice.
“I felt very privileged to be in a room full of so much talent. These awards represent all of the hard work we put in each and every day to support our organisations to thrive.”
Neil Burrows, Director of Skills, Innovation and Employer Engagement at Burnley College, shared his pride, saying:
“Megan is a superb ambassador for Apprenticeships and an integral part of Burnley College.
“Her maturity, confidence and ability to think outside the box is outstanding, especially with her only being at the start of her career.
“She is extremely generous with her time and expertise – a true inspiration to her fellow apprentices and young people in general.
“We’re extremely proud of all of her achievements, and this latest award is thoroughly well-deserved.”
