Week 1-2: Cell Safety & Safe Working Practices (6 hours)

Week 1 (Session 1 and 2):

  • Introduction to robotic safety standards and regulations
  • Risk assessment and mitigation strategies
  • Safe working practices in a robotic cell

Week 3-4: Robot Jogging/Operation (6 hours)

Week 3 (Session 3 and 4):

  • Basics of robot operation and control
  • Jogging and manual control of robot movements
  • Handling emergency stops and recovery procedures

Week 5-6: Creating & Testing Programs (6 hours)

Week 5 (Session 5 and 6):

  • Understanding programming languages (TP and KAREL)
  • Writing and editing robot programs
  • Testing and debugging robot programs

Week 7-8: Motion Types & Co-ordinate Systems (6 hours)

Week 7 (Session 7 and 8):

  • Different motion types (joint, linear, circular, etc.)
  • Working with co-ordinate systems
  • Programming complex robot motions

Week 9-10: Inputs and Outputs (6 hours)

Week 9 (Session 9 and 10):

  • Understanding digital and analog inputs and outputs
  • Wiring and configuring I/O devices
  • Integrating external devices with the robot controller

Week 11-12: Registers (6 hours)

Week 11 (Session 11 and 12):

  • Introduction to robot registers
  • Using registers for data storage and manipulation
  • Advanced register applications and examples

Week 13-14: Advanced Programming Techniques (6 hours)

Week 13 (Session 13 and 14):

  • Advanced programming concepts for robotic automation
  • Complex logic and decision-making in robot programs

Week 15-16: Maintenance and Troubleshooting (6 hours)
