About the course
The Manufacturing Skills Academy has been designed by employers looking for individuals with manufacturing skills and a great work ethic. Employers often find recruiting a new workforce challenging and a lengthy process. The Manufacturing Skills Academy team work closely with Job Centre Plus and local employers to match trained academy students with job vacancies. All training is delivered by industry experts with extensive experience in managing manufacturing operations for a range of national employers. Skills academy recruits learn in our bespoke training facility in Burnley College and Vision Park, next to the main college campus. Recruits are trained in the essential skills that will make them effective manufacturing specialists, build on their past work experience and gain nationally-recognised qualifications.
