About the course
Group work and study sessions will cover a wide range of topics including: - Checking stock levels and stock records - Developing effective working relationships with colleagues in logistics operations - Health, safety and security at work - Keeping work areas clean in logistics operations - Picking goods in logistics operations - Picking goods ready for despatch or to assemble orders - Placing goods in storage in logistics operations - Receiving goods in logistics operation - Sorting goods and materials for recycling or disposal in logistics operation - Using equipment to move goods in logistics operations An integral part of the Apprenticeship will be the acquisition of functional skills which will equip Apprentices with a range of skills required by employers. Competence is assessed through workplace visits and a portfolio. Knowledge is assessed via external examinations.

Entry Requirements
A minimum of two GCSEs at Grade 5 or above. Applicants must be hardworking, reliable and motivated. As part of the interview process, Apprentices will undertake a BKSB assessment in English, Mathematics and ICT. Applicants who do not meet the exact entry requirements but hold relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants who do not meet the exact entry requirements may also be considered.
Assessment
You will be assessed via onsite assessments, practical tasks and on-line exams.
