About the course

The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology is a vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a reflexologist. This qualification is designed for learners who want to gain employment as a reflexologist, as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role.

This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a reflexologist including, mandatory units covering the following: knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice and business practice, anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies. You will also develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide reflexology treatments.

Entry Requirements

Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 2 qualification in complementary therapy and/or a successful skills test and interview.

Modules

- Business practice for complementary therapies

- Principles and practice of complementary therapies

- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and pathway for complementary therapies

- Provide reflexology for complementary therapies

Assessment

Assessments will be through exams, portfolio, case studies and practical assessments.

Careers & Progression

This qualification will confirm your competence for employment as a reflexologist. You will also be eligible to join a professional association and gain insurance as a reflexologist. Career opportunities as a reflexologist exist in a variety of contexts, including: - Working in commercial complementary therapy clinics - Working a commercial spa or salon - Working in the NHS in hospitals and care homes - Working independently/self-employed/mobile/home-based settings
