About the course

The 2377-77 course from City and Guilds is a PAT testing course that provides you with a recognised qualification in portable appliance testing procedures.

During your study on programme you will, learn, develop and practise the skills required to inspect and test items of electrical equipment in line with the latest edition of the Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.

Aimed at practicing electricians and  those responsible for the maintenance of portable appliances in work environments,this qualification will help and progress individuals within the Electrotechnical industry.

This will be via a theory based exam.

This qualification enables you to test appliances in-house for your company alongside your main job role, whereas some people want to make it their main career and set up a business PAT testing for companies.
