Entry Requirements
At least six GCSEs at grade 5 or above in a good range of subjects, including both English and Mathematics. Additional entry requirements for this course are: A minimum of grade 5 in GCSE Art and Design. Please note GCSE Technology: Textiles Technology is not a sufficient qualification. In exceptional circumstances, we will consider students without the sufficient GCSEs who have a strong portfolio of design work demonstrating genuine interest and capability in the area.

Extra curricular activities
Students will be given the opportunity to visit Harrogate Knit and Stitch, Platt Hall in Manchester, Manchester City Art Gallery, and the Platform Gallery in Clitheroe to gain an insight into how the skills developed during the course can apply to a working environment.
