About the course

This qualification comprises five mandatory units:

1. Understand the Principles of Coding

2. Understand Terminology Used in Coding

3. Understand Coding Design Principles

4. Understand the Processes and Practice of Coding

5. Understand the Importance of Communication and Project Management in Coding

Learners will be assessed through an internally assessed and externally quality-assured portfolio of evidence. The course does not require any prior coding knowledge or experience.

Assessment

On this course, you will be regularly assessed and will complete questions to demonstrate your acquired knowledge and skills. Knowledge questions are issued as the formal assessment for each unit and will be completed through your online learning platform. For each unit, clear deadlines are provided to ensure timely completion of your course. You will receive feedback on each unit from your expert tutor, and you will need to pass all 5 units of the course and ensure your answers to the questions meet the required assessment criteria.
