About the course
Our Social Media for Business course aims to provide an overview of how you can use social media to promote and grow your business. Social platforms help you connect with your customers, increase awareness about your brand, and boost your leads and sales. With more than three billion people around the world using social media every month, the users and engagement on major platforms just keep increasing. You will look at the benefits and limitations of using different social media platforms and how to develop robust social media marketing strategy to ensure your social campaigns are successful. In addition to this, you will also develop your knowledge of competitor analysis and how to use measurement metrics to ensure high quality advertising. You will work with industry specialists to create eye catching posts to grab the attention of your customers

There are no formal entry requirements required for this training.
On this course, you will be assessed regularly through practice tasks and assignments to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviours you have developed throughout the course. Additionally, you will be formally assessed through a marketing project at the end of the course. This will be carried out by Industry lead lecturers within the Social Media sector. Written and verbal feedback will be recorded throughout detailing progress made. You will build a digital portfolio of evidence that will demonstrate the skills and knowledge learnt throughout the duration of the course.

Careers path and progression with experience, you could move into managing social media for larger companies. This course provides an introduction to the world of digital marketing, specifically social media strategy. This could lead to routes of progression within the digital marketing sector including a range of careers and job roles.
