About the course

By using a mixture of starting points in relation to experiences of safeguarding, legislation and guidance and referral processes, this 1 day split training will consist of the following topics: Introduction to safeguarding and definition, Legislation and guidance around safeguarding, Abuse – what it is?, Different types of abuse with activities, Introduction to prevent and risks for apprentices, Reporting to services, Information sharing, Disclosures and recording, Veka/Burnley College procedures for safeguarding.
