About the course

This course is for those who are working in early years settings or who have a non professional involvement and want to learn key paediatric first aid skills. This course meets the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework.

This blended 12 hour course entails the completion of an e-learning course and then a one day classroom based practical session. Over the course you will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations including assessing an emergency situation, dealing with an unresponsive infant or child, CPR, choking, meningitis, head injuries, anaphylaxis, asthma and much more.
