Entry Requirements
A minimum of two GCSEs at grade 3 including English Language and Maths OR a relevant Pre Foundation Learning qualification including GCSE grade 3 in English Language and/or Maths.
Modules
The one year programme includes 10 foundation units including Getting People Active, Keeping Active and Healthy, Playing Sport, Coaching Skills in Sport and Working with Others.
Assessment
The vocational diploma is assessed via coursework where you will create a portfolio of evidence to show your practical application of the units.

Equipment Needed
Students will need appropriate sports wear which can be purchased from College on enrolment.
Enrichment Activities
During the course you will have opportunities to be involved in work related trips and visits and take part in weekly sports enrichment learning various sports. If you are performing in sport at a high level we also have opportunities like our Sports Academies and Elite Athlete Programme to be involved in.
