Entry Requirements
"Applicants will need to have achieved a minimum of Grade 5 in Maths and English and ideally will have studied Business. It is preferred that applicants will have or be working towards A Level's or a BTEC qualification in Business or a related subject. All applicants will be screened before joining the course to ensure their job role meets the requirements for the end point assessment."
Assessment
You will complete knowledge check assessments at several points throughout your course to ensure your progress. You will be assessed at the end point assessment where you will complete a work based project and a professional discussion which will give you your overall apprenticeship mark. The work-based project will typically last around 10 weeks and you will produce a 3000 word report explaining what you have done once this has been submitted to the end point assessor, you will sit your professional discussion a day later where you will be asked questions around your role and experience in HR. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will have quizzes to test your knowledge and ensure that you are understanding the requirements for the end point assessment.
Careers & Progression
Upon completion, you may progress onto the HR Consultant/Partner apprenticeship at Level 5 or look at specialist HR qualifications e.g. Learning and Development. Apprentices may also be able to apply for professional membership with CIPD at Associate level.

Equipment Supplied
Burnley College will pay for CIPD student memberships for all HR apprentices to ensure that they have access to all relevant support materials and resources.
Extra curricular activities
Students are encouraged to discuss what their roles and responsibilities are in the workplace, in order to tailor the learning in accordance to both the students needs and the employers needs. Relevant webinars and online courses will be passed onto apprentices to expand their knowledge on matters such as Employment Law.
