Entry Requirements

Learners must have some experience of gym-based exercises, including free weights. The course requires physical exertion and individual participation is essential; therefore, a degree of physical fitness is necessary. There is also an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learner should have basic skills in communication.

Assessment

You will have a combination of practical assessment, exams and a portfolio of evidence.

Careers & Progression

On successful completion of this course you can progress to a Level 3 Personal Training qualification or why not widen your skill base as an instructor applying for our Les Mills courses in Body Balance, Grit and Body Pump or our Level 2 Group Exercise Instructing courses in Indoor Cycling (Spinning), Circuit Training, Studio Resistance Training, Kettlebell Training or Strength and Conditioning.
