About the course

This course is specifically designed for experienced/competent electricians who are interested in expanding their business by installing the latest development in electrical technology. On successful completion of this qualification candidates can apply for inclusion on the OLEV (The Office for Low Emission Vehicles) register of competent Electric Vehicle Charging Installers. The course is designed to support installers to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the growing low carbon transport market. This course will provide the installation requirements and knowledge to help you and your workforce to make the most of consumer demand for low-cost alternatives to conventional fossil fuelled vehicles, as well as the tax reductions and incentives going electric can provide to domestic, commercial and industrial clients.

Entry Requirements

All candidates must have: 18th Edition, BS 7671, Inspection and Testing L3 and be working within the electrical industry.

Assessment

Assessment will be via an open book online exam and practical assessment within the training and assessment area.
