Extra curricular activities
During Year 1 we hold an inspiration event where several guest speakers come visit College to talk about their careers. This gives students a wide appreciation of the different vocations within childcare. We conduct visits to a wide range of universities. Representatives from universities also come to college to support students when making choices about their futures in Higher Education. Disneyland Paris has been enjoyed by several of our learners, giving an insight in to how children learn and how development can be promoted in various ways. Students are also invited to Tanzania where they will gain vocation work experience in a unique cultural setting. Due to the international perspectives unit students will be offered the opportunity to see how children are cared for in different countries.
