Themis Apprenticeships are partnered with local businesses to allow Apprentices to focus on carpentry, joinery, wood machining, furniture design, construction, interior design or kitchen fitting using the specialised industry knowledge of the companies and businesses we work with.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of five GCSEs at Grade 5 or above in a good range of subjects including GCSE English Language, Mathematics and Science. Ideally, applicants may have also completed an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Carpentry, Joinery and Wood Occupations. Applicants must be hardworking, reliable and motivated. As part of the interview process, Apprentices will undertake a BKSB assessment in English, Mathematics and ICT. You may also need to sit the Construction Skills Structured Learning Exercise if your employer requests it. Applicants who do not meet the exact entry requirements but hold relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants who do not meet the exact entry requirements may also be considered.

Assessment

Apprentices are assessed via onsite assessments, practical tasks and on-line exams.
