About the course
This dynamic, industry relevant course is divided into two qualifications. In Semester 1, you will complete the pre-advanced, Level 2 Technical Award in Enterprise, which is made up of three Components. In Component 1, you will learn about different enterprises and how they successfully target their customers. We engage with several employers during this Component to give you a real insight into the workings of a real life business. Component 2 is where you will prepare your own business idea and present this as a professional pitch to an investor, allowing you to develop your presentation and professional skills. The final Component is assessed as an examination and covers business finance and marketing. In Semester 2, you will progress onto the pre-advanced, Level 2 Technical Certificate in Marketing, which is delivered as four units. Unit 1 explores how a business successfully uses marketing techniques to delight their customers. This unit is assessed as an examination. Unit 2 is all about Market Research and delves into how a business understands their customers wants and needs to ensure thy can target their products and services accurately. Unit 3 is where you will analyse and create marketing communications such as adverts and social media posts to engage with your target audience. Unit 4 is where you will design and pitch your own unique marketing campaign, developing a range of valuable skills that will make you a real asset to any employer.
