About the course

A Level Art and Design: Fine Art combines both theoretical and practical work to challenge students as an artist. Throughout this inspiring course the emphasis will be placed on developing students’ research skills, creativity and contextual understanding and appreciation of art and design.

Entry Requirements

At least six GCSEs at grade 5 or above in a good range of subjects, including both English and Mathematics. Additional entry requirements for this course are: A minimum of grade 6 in GCSE Art and Design. In exceptional circumstances, we will consider students without this who have a strong portfolio of design work demonstrating genuine interest and capability in the area.
