Due to continued growth within our Science, Health and Education Division, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Trainer Assessor/Placement Coordinator to support learners throughout their qualifications and work placement experiences.
As a Trainer Assessor/Placement Coordinator, you will play a key role in sourcing, coordinating and monitoring high-quality placement opportunities for learners. You will build and maintain strong relationships with employers and placement providers, ensuring learners gain valuable industry experience while receiving the support they need to achieve their qualifications.
You will work closely with Curriculum Managers, Programme Leaders and internal College teams to arrange placements, conduct workplace visits, undertake assessments and reviews, and provide timely feedback to learners, employers and colleagues. The role also involves delivering training sessions, preparing learning and assessment materials, monitoring compliance requirements including DBS checks and workplace appraisals, and supporting the development of new placement opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with knowledge of Health, Care and Early Years placement settings and an understanding of safeguarding and health and safety requirements. You should possess excellent organisational, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
The salary for this post is up to £33,290
