We are seeking a Safeguarding & Wellbeing Lead to work as part of the Safeguarding team in a senior capacity as Deputy DSL to promote and oversee a whole College approach to enhancing the emotional health and wellbeing of students.
Your responsibilities will include supporting vulnerable students and adults, including young carers, students living independently, looked after students, care leavers and those at risk. Oversight and line management of staff providing support, advice, guidance, and regular supervision and Complete Designated Safeguarding Lead training and refresher training in line with guidance and requirements and act as deputy for Designated Safeguarding Leads in their absence.
The successful candidate will Possess or be willing to work towards an appropriate degree and will have the Ability to support the work of designated safeguarding leads. As well as the Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
The salary for this post is up to £37,471.
