We are seeking a Lecturer in Medical Biology to make a significant contribution to the delivery of the BSc (Hons) Medical Biology programme.
Your responsibilities will include accurately assessing and monitoring student work to assure high achievement and progression and to deliver effective tutorial and pastoral support.
The successful candidate will have an Undergraduate degree level qualification in a relevant discipline and a relevant postgraduate qualification or willingness to work towards.
You will have detailed knowledge of current issues in the field of Medical Molecular Microbiology, Bacteriology and Virology Cell and Molecular Biology, Genetics and Genomics, Next Gen Sequencing (NGS) techniques, qPCR and Molecular Diagnostics, Bioinformatics, Tissue Engineering and Cell Culture, Anatomy and Physiology.
The salary for this post is £32,766 – £39,101
