Due to significant growth in the curriculum area, we are currently recruiting for a Lecturer in AS/A-Level Computing, with a demonstrable record of outstanding student achievement and a commitment to driving forward the provision of Computing to ensure student success.
As an ambitious Lecturer, you will work closely within the A-Levels Division to ensure that students are actively engaged in all aspects of the delivery of AS/A-Level Computing and you will also work within the Division and liaise with cross-College areas to enhance the student experience and provide the widest range of opportunities to our students.
As a Lecturer you will teach, relevant to subject specialism, up to 832 hours per year.
With a degree level qualification in Computing/ICT or a related subject/discipline, and a PGCE or Certificate in Education, you will possess detailed knowledge of current AS/A-Level Computing specifications and of current issues in Further Education relating to the curriculum area. You will also have the ability to display excellent teaching skills in the delivery of AS/A-Level Computing.
The salary for this post is £28,728 – £34,474.
