The quality of the teaching and the opportunities my course gave me access to are what made me choose BCUC.

I’m a very creative person, so I really enjoyed my work placements writing for the local magazines that Loop Publishing produce. BCUC is always growing and evolving – it’s great to have such a welcoming and supportive place to learn right on my doorstep.

Yes! On some courses, elements of work placement are necessary to complete your qualification and you could potentially do this in your own workplace as part of your current role.

A full-time degree-level programme can mean two/three days per week on Campus over the academic year and can be studied alongside your current role. A part-time degree-level programme could be potentially a day or an evening on Campus each week over the academic year but takes longer to achieve.

University-level study is more affordable than you may think. You can access a Student Finance loan to cover the cost of your course and do not need to pay anything back until you are earning more than £2,083 a month (before tax and other deductions).

We can also give you information on eligibility for the BCUC Bursary (worth up to £2,500 across your years of study, dependent on your income bracket) and any additional benefits or support packages to which you may be entitled.

At Burnley College University Courses we understand that returning to study may be daunting. Throughout your course you will have access to specialist, one-to-one individual academic advice from specialist Lecturers and advisors, as well as seminars and workshops to take part in ahead of your course starting.
