Over 40 universities from across the UK are preparing to meet the next generation of academic talent at Burnley College’s upcoming University Expo on Thursday 4 February.
For the first time, this event is open to all students and their families to discover more about their options after college, from university study to gap year and volunteering opportunities.
Parents and guardians will also be able to learn more about the financial support, pastoral care, and careers services that universities can provide.
The University Expo offers all those considering higher education as the next step in their journey to career success the opportunity to:
- Explore a wide range of courses and career pathways.
- Gain insight into what campus life is really like.
- Hear from expert speakers on making the progression from college to university a smooth process.
- Receive tailored advice and guidance from Burnley College’s friendly Careers Team.
Andrew Wilkinson, Careers Advisor at Burnley College, said the event will be an excellent starting point for students who are still deciding if university is the right path for them:

The University Expo takes place on Thursday 4 February from 5.30-8pm at Burnley College.
