National Careers Week at Burnley College

Students at Burnley College Sixth Form Centre have been given expert advice, guidance and practical tools to ensure they’re prepared for their future careers.

Burnley College celebrated National Careers Week (NCW) by hosting a range of activities, guest speakers and interactive workshops.

The goal of NCW is to provide a focus at a crucial point in the academic calendar to support young people in developing awareness and excitement about their future pathways.

Throughout the week our Student Services team hosted workshops for CV writing, job application advice and interview techniques which equipped Students with the skills and knowledge to chase their desired career.

We welcomed guest speakers including Apprentice star Adam Corbally who provided Students with expert career advice in an engaging session encouraging people to step out of their comfort zone and take every opportunity that comes their way.
